The two regions are combined according to the specified mode. CreateEllipticRgn The CreateEllipticRgn function creates an elliptical region. CreateRectRgn Creates a rectangular region. CreateRoundRectRgn Creates a rectangular region with rounded corners. FrameRgn The FrameRgn function draws a border around the specified region by using the specified brush. GetRegionData Fills the specified buffer with data describing a region. This data includes the dimensions of the rectangles that make up the region. GetRgnBox Retrieves the bounding rectangle of the specified region.
